Ocean 182
The brand new addition to the Sunseeker Ocean 182 has arrived in the Ocean yacht family and offers something completely new to the Sunseeker range. The significant interior volume transforms this yacht into something completely new and will appeal to a different type of owner. A notable change to the design of the Ocean 182 is the unique shape of the enclosed flybridge. The newly shaped exterior on the upper deck, made almost entirely of glazing, offers panoramic views from the helm. Even more light and ventilation is provided by the flybridge's full-width tilting sunroof, which opens effortlessly at the touch of a switch. In the lower decks, a huge area of glazing invites natural daylight into the interior spaces. The enclosed flybridge offers the added comfort of an air-conditioned interior, suitable for extremely hot or cold climates or for those looking for more privacy. The helm station, usually located on the main deck, has moved to a single helm on the flybridge, creating a luxurious open main deck space with several seating arrangements that rival those found aboard a superyacht. The galley, now located forward and accompanied by a spacious dinette, provides incredible space and storage, whether for owner use or for discreet crew use with dedicated side access to the deck. Measuring over 6m x 4m, the generous Beach Club is complemented by innovative X-TEND™ sunbeds that can be switched to a lowered, rear-facing position at sea level with a remote control, or raised and attached to face the spacious aft cockpit seating. There is a rain shower under the raised garage door and plenty of room inside for water toys, a towel rack or diving equipment. Two dedicated lockers for SeaBobs are set into the floor, while jet skis can be stored on a hydraulic platform. The timeless interior is characterized by soft neutral tones and a luxurious mix of textured materials. The attention to detail is second to none. Every inch is finished to an impeccable standard with carefully thought out recessed ambient lighting, stainless steel trim details and specially designed bulkheads. The entire main deck has been designed with usability and livability in mind and is a dedicated space for socializing and entertaining. Owners can choose from contemporary free-standing furniture to fill the generous proportions of the main saloon; a popular choice is a large U-shaped sofa and accompanying chairs or an additional L-shaped sofa and a wonderful coffee table. The forward galley, fully equipped with Miele appliances and the owner's optional wine cellar, provides a welcome space for entertaining at the large dining table for up to eight guests. The yacht is powered by Twin MAN V12 1650 or 1900 engines and reaches a comfortable top speed of 27 knots. Meanwhile, at a displacement speed of 12 knots, it has an extended range of 1,800 nautical miles.
